Is this really gonna benefit much on upgrading the dvd? IIRC, most of it is video or news footage from the 90's, so it's mostly SD anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Pac and have the dvd, just not sure I see any need to upgrade here. I also have only watched this twice in my life so it's not a go-to movie for me.

Yeah it’s good but if you seen one documentary about 2Pac you’ve seen them all cause they have the same footage in them.

I can’t believe it’s been almost 25 years since his passing. When this documentary came out it had already been 7 years since his murder and that felt forever ago at the time. Now it’s been 18 years since this documentary came out and it’s really felt like forever. 2Pac is timeless tho.

I still vividly remember how sick I felt the night he was shot, and praying he would somehow pull through over the following week. Losing Biggie the same way just 6 months later was horrific.

The sheer amount of lasting impact that each of them had on hip hop, music, and overall culture--particularly without either of them making it past 25--is truly staggering and heartbreaking.

Yes I agree. Their music certainly creates some uptight people. Good story, bro.

Not sure what the poster above is talking about - I have it, it plays fine on my region B-only player.

I only bought the DVD because of the comments in here suggesting video sources, is it worth getting on Blu?

A lot of it looked (and sounded) pretty great to me, definitely worth it in my opinion.
