Default Something weird is happening!

I have an internet connection, but I can not connect to anything, so far, except Blu-ray.com. Did something bad happen somewhere?

I've tried Yahoo, New York Times, Weather.com, the local pizza shop and many others. No luck.

Try resetting your connection, that would be the first thing I would do. Also, have you tried restarting your computer?

I've tried everything. It's like something supernatural. Blu-ray is taking over my home. I've tried just about every bookmark I have, and my wife can't connect with her PC, either. I was unable to download weather forecast on the iphone this morning either.

Check your browser and see if any of those sites are blocked. Also, try and clear the browser cache (it maybe full and not allow any other site to connect).

Most likely you have virus. It was happening to me a couple of days back and I ended up having Spyware Protect 2009.

I think you've been busted for pirating movies. Expect the feds to come knocking any minute now.

Actually, a similar thing happened to me last week. BD.com would occasionally load, but nothing else would. Turned out to be a problem with Time Warner, and everybody in our area who had RoadRunner had some downtime for a few hours, until they fixed it.

So maybe call your internet provider, and see if it's them, before worrying that it's your computer, or doing anything crazy.

Must be an ISP problem. Wait time on hold is 45-90 minutes. I will bide my time. Too weird, though, to only have this website. It creeped me out a little, at first. I recall trying to use the internet on 9/11, and it was a total logjam. I thought there might have been a disaster somewhere. No news on the television, though.

It is weird indeed. Bah at least you can connect to Bluray.com until your full internet connection is back, could have been worse.

It was back to normal Saturday evening, not that I really cared by then. ISP phone tech support was not helpful earlier.

Sounds like your computer caught the swine flu virus.

Better update your will.

Do you have cable internet? My cable modem was going out and it seemed like the only connection I could get was blu-ray.com. I think it was because it took less effort to get here. It seems like it has less "special features" that need to load. It was worse than dial-up though. When I finally figured out what was wrong with it and replaced it, I was surprised at how much more speed I had. I think it was dying slowly and I never noticed the slow down until one day it decided it was on its last legs.

Any chance of this still happening? That would be a real shame if this happened to me at work......
