I can see WB releasing the 1995 movie and maybe MAYBE its horrible sequel Annihilation on 4K Blu-ray later on this year to commorate with this movie.

I will gladly blind buy. My 13 year old self loved the original and still does. I just played it on Genesis again over the weekend.

I feel ya man. When I was 12-13 I use to ride my bike up to the local video store with a few bucks and the Power Guide magazine to play MK1 & MK2. I would be there by my self and play for hours. Mortal Kombat era was amazing...this franchise holds a special place in my heart. So glad they redid this and so far from the looks of it this will be bad ass and a proper film with all the gore and violence MK was known for.

Those were the days. My local gas station had a MK machine for a couple years and people would line up 3-4 at a time.

I think it would be coming out next week with the 2-movie steel if they had any intention of doing a 4K version of either movie.

I don't know if I want to buy it yet. Maybe it's Annihilation 2. But gawd they should release MK95 on UHD asap.

I agree. Bridgette Wilson in UHD would be great! and also she is in Last Action Hero in which we are getting.
