Default Need help with building my system

Hi was needing some help with this system I'm building. I'm not good with all the numbers and stuff so I'm not sure if the receiver I'm thinking of getting can handle the speakers or not or if it'll blow the moment I turn it on. So hopefully someone here can help me out.

Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR696. Was thinking about the Sony STR-DN1080 but heard some bad things about it so decided against it.
Specs for All Channels: 100 W/Ch (8 Ohms, 20 Hz–20 kHz, 0.08% THD, 2 Channels Driven, FTC) 210 W/Ch (6 Ohms, 1 kHz, 10% THD, 1 Channel Driven)

Speakers: 2 Sony SSCS3 3-Way Floor-Standing Speaker -- Specs: Sound Reproduction to 50kHz, 6 ohm Speaker Impedance, 145 W Maximum Input Power -- Here's the link

1 Sony SSCS8 2-Way 3-Driver Center Channel Speaker -- Specs: 6 ohm Speaker Impedance, 145 W Maximum Input Power, Frequency Response:55 Hz–25 kHz -- Here's the link

Lastly and maybe 2 Sony SSCSE Dolby Atmos Enabled Speakers, Black, Dolby Atmos Enabled Speakers -- Specs: 100W per channel, Frequency range: 70 Hz – 32,000 Hz, 6 ohm impedance -- Here's the link

I didn't list the subwoofer because its powered so no need to worry there. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Really? It's getting on a bit now but I've only ever heard good stuff about it as one of the top-end entry level receivers.

I've seen some reviewers saying something about a popping noise coming from the speakers and if you reset the receiver it will go away for a bit or you may have to send it in to Sony for repair. But I haven't heard anything about how it was after it came back from repair. I'm honestly thinking about getting it and trying it if no one can help me out with this.
