Default Differences between Pioneer Elites?

Can someone just give me a brief summary of the differences between the Pioneer Elite models that are supposed to be the best tv's out there right now. I think ive seen there are a few different ones. And also what is the price i should be able to get one at?

Thanks!

Thanks, so which one do u recommend? I dont really understand much of the technical information. Say u had a choice of any of them, what would u pick.

Also, i already have surround sound speakers... i saw that one comes with speakers.

If money is no object then go for the KRPs [sans tuner & speakers] or the 60 inch Elite [with tuner & speakers].

That would the M series. Trip 1 is what I have and has been called the best TV of 2008.

MSRP is $5000 but if you look hard enough [and are lucky cos theyre running out of these] you can still get it for $2500-$3000 online or at some B&M store. But I havent checked the prices lately so who knows

Umm that is an Elite...the 5020s and the 6020s are Non-Elites.

MSRP as in Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price and then there is sale price dependent on whosoever is selling the sets

yup! I guess i will just keep an eye out then... cause im looking to buy a tv to use starting in September. Dont think i would spend over like 3 grand... so im gonna have to try and find a deal. and i really want the elite.

whats the main difference between the M series and the 111FD?

Main diff between them: M has no speakers or tuner, 111 comes with speakers and tuner. If you have a home theater system and are planning on running cable/satellite/dish through it then there is no reason for a tuner on the tv as it becomes redundant, since cable boxes come with it. Then by all means go for the Ms. If you dont have a HTS and are considering getting OTA channels then 111 would be a better choice. Thats my opinion based merely on the diffs I have stated.

The M series is just a monitor. It is intended for professional use/custom installation. No speakers, no tuner and no table top stand. It also lacks the ISF calibration that is found on the Elites and has 2 less HDMI inputs.

I think i need 2 HDMI Inputs? One hooked up to my surround sound/dvd player and one for my computer. Although if i wanted to hook up one to my cable box, that would be a problem.

for ISF calibration, if i have a professional do it, then its probably a non issue that the M series lacks calibration?

so if i have a receiver with isf calibration then the M would benefit me? i use a hddvr for the cable. my receiver also has an abundance of hdmi's. the only other thing that would plug into the tv other than the receiver would be a mac mini
