Charmed The Complete Series in English

Hi,

I am starting this topic because the lucky Germans got a complete series while we are being shafted with MOD releases every 1 or 2 years.

I am asking @CBSHomeentertainment and @ParamountPics to serve the English speaking fans what we are waiting for since 2018: A complete replica of book of shadows in English with the full series remastered in Blu-ray.

The German got just that:


We ask @CBSHomeentertainment and @ParamountPics to treat their English fans the same way and release a full boxset with some changes done to it:

We would like to have some changes to the box itself to be more disc friendly and avoid replacement programs hell; here is an example of a good boxset with disc rubber holders that maintain the disc in place:

and here's an example of a boxset that we don't want: discs in pockets will induce scratches and unnecessary replacement programs for discs:


We don't want an ugly disc artwork:


We want the same disc art we got for Season 1 for all seasons (1-8) with different colors to differentiate between season:


Give us the corrected version with corrected goofs among other Charmed S03E13 problems happening between 27min 20 sec-28min 05 sec into the episode:

You can take the German release remove German audio track and put French audio track and possibly Spanish audio track, use the English subtitles, add any other subtitles in like French and Spanish if possible.

Hopefully, this will come to fruition and will help @CBSHomeentertainment and @ParamountPics do good decisions when finally releasing the boxset. The work is halfway done with the German release, they just have to tinker it and make it perfect.

It would definitely be great to get a complete set at once in North America instead of MOD releases on a slow release schedule.

I enjoyed Charmed but it wasn’t at the top of my list for other genre shows such as Buffy, and given that TV shows are generally semi-expensive on Blu-ray, I have to be selective in my purchasing. Of course I want to support these 80s/90s/2000s shows on Blu-ray but I don’t prefer an MOD product, especially when there is a chance they will just stop and not complete the series. I have bought many TV shows in the past on Blu-ray, but many have less seasons so it’s an easier and less risky proposition, and I have been waiting for CBS to change their mind or for an international release... and now that international release is here.

Don’t hate me for those who don’t live in North America and prefer their foreign dub of choice, but one comment on the above is possibly include just the English audio and subs in other languages. Save the space and use the maximum space on the disc for the video encodes... and put all extras (excepting any episode commentaries) onto a separate disc or discs.

And 100% on the packaging, no sliding discs over cardboard and no stacked discs either.
