It’s all butter to me up until A Dangerous Method. At any rate, just kidding with you. Based on your handle I figured you weren’t ****ing around when it comes to Cronenberg.

No worries. I caught his exhibit in Toronto at the TIFF Bell Lightbox Theater, it was pretty awesome. They had the original Videodrome surveys from the test screenings and that was probably the highlight for me, seeing how much people hated it lol

I like the film, but indeed there is better. Though other labels will put out a bunch of them, so it's good Kino are bringing this to market where other's might not even out it on there radar.

I think Naked Lunch is highly rumoured to be coming from Arrow.

Happy to see this but hold the eff on because this didn’t even clear $60 mil at the global box office but VALKYRIE made over $200 mil and yet still didn’t meet KL’s minimum projected profitability standard for a 4K release…? Da hell…?

I've never really liked Scanners or Rabid if I'm being honest. Never been able to get into either of them. However, everything else by him from that era (Shivers, The Brood, Videodrome, The Dead Zone, The Fly, Dead Ringers, etc) I absolutely love.

Eastern Promises is probably my fav out of Cronenberg's "recent" output. The bathhouse scene is something you don't easily forget lol.

There's enough Tom Cruise out already.

Quite the surprise but like everyone else I’m very excited for this. Rewatched it recently this year and it’s such a great film. Very interested to see how this new 4K master turns out. Will it be a 2K upconvert with a new HDR grade or a brand new 4K scan of the negative?

Man, I would buy Legend and Risky Business in a heartbeat if those came out on UHD.

I did not expect this announcement! Definitely going to be snagging this one and I look forward to all the greasy/oil from the manufacturing process found inside the Kino case.

Add me to the list that would love to see A History of Violence next!

Looks like I will need to play the HD DVD to see if I still like this movie.
