Default What is a given on BD?

IS it a given that all BD discs have normal compressed DD or DTS? I'm only asking cause I don't yet have the money to upgrade my sound system and was just wondering if I'll always be able to enjoy 5.1 surround sound with my BD's. (Even if they aren't uncompressed)

Yes. It's in the specs. Some sort of DD must be on the disc (or the player/receiver has to extract the DD track from the TrueHD track).

i think the lowest you can expect to see is a DD 5.1 with a higher quality than seen on DVD. lossless audio is on most releases!
