Default Waste of 7.1 Audio

What movie do you think is a complete waste of 7.1 audio?

I'm going to start out with Bangkok Dangerous. This movie was so bad that I couldn't even finish watching it even though I wanted to audition the 7.1 track.

Well are we talking crappy movies or ones that advertise a 7.1 track but don't make good use of it...I didn't like this movie either, but there are some good action scenes and I'm sure they sound good in 7.1.

Run Fatboy Run

Of all the titles that would make great use of a 7.1 mix, and this one gets it.

Yeah they sounded good, but I couldn't stand to watch the movie any more after about 45 minutes. If the movie sucks it might as well be in compressed 2 track DD or something. There's a lot of really great movies that could be in 7.1 but aren't. Why is that?

I personally always have Pro Logic IIx turned on...I can't stand 5.1 content alone, once you hear something in 7.1 EVERYTHING has to be 7.1. My room is set up like this so I need to matrix 5.1 lossless to 7.1. Again, all praise to Lionsgate for titles such as Rambo, War, 3:10 to Yuma, Transporter 3!
