I like the sound of it and a 1970's setting is pretty neat as well. I look forward to knowing who the rest of the cast are.

I went into this thread, read the description and tried to like the first post, only to find that I already did a couple years ago. lol

I’m still definitely excited to see them team up again. Love Sideways. It’s my favorite movie each of them have made.

"THE HOLDOVERS is moving up from a limited opening on 11/10/23 to 10/27/23. The Alexander Payne film will also now expand on 11/3/23 and open wide on 11/10/23."

I loved that trailer. I feel like it’s been forever since I saw a Payne or Giamatti film and both were favorites of mine a decade or so ago.

Looks very promising, as expected. I know a lot of people don't like Downsizing, but I don't think Payne has ever put a foot wrong.

Saw the trailer for this before Killers of the Flower Moon. The material is screaming for a "special appearance" by John Houseman. Too bad he's dead.
