Originally a Wii U game, it's now being remastered for 8th and 9th gen platforms. Hopefully we'll see a disc at retail for it too.

I heard maybe they did? Well, whatever happened in the boardrooms, the result is that this Fatal Frame will come out of PS5 and more.

And Yes 1-4 remasters would be great, as long as they have all the extra content from 'Directors Cuts'.

This will probably we similar to Zombi. Reasonable port but loses the essence of the original game without the gamepad mechanics.

Thought this sounded familiar.

Played some hours of it on Wii U. Didn’t finish it. Hopefully this won’t be much.

I beat 1 and 2 on the ps2. These games ooze perpetual dread and without blood and gore.

Never got around to 3 and with 4 being exclusive to Nintendo I gave up on it.

I'd definitely pick up a physical release of 5.

I might get this just to support the possibility of 1-3 getting remastered on current consoles and PC. The first two games are true horror classics, and while the third game wasn't quite as good it also had the most terrifying moments for me (the sections in the modern-day apartment were unbelievably tense). Fatal Frame 2 is probably the best in the series and a full on rebuild of that game similar to what Capcom did with RE2 and RE3 would be a dream come true.
