Default BD Live/BD Live Titles from Sony

I'm not sure if I should post at the newbie forum but I'll check here first. I did a quick search but nothing found. I'm at work and I don't have time to detail search

I'm the type of person that just pops the movie and watches. I have several BD Live movies but never used the feature. I didn't bother to read the instructions, but who uses this feature? I heard you can save your favorite scenes and save it on your HD (PS3), and play on the fly? Well, just wondering how you use this feature.

BD-Live is a feature that you need an Internet connection to use. Not to mention you also have to register for it. It would take some very good special features to make it worth all that trouble if you ask me.

I have a few BD-Live discs.
So far, the feature is very lacking in content... all studios.

I am glad they started offering to save the login information though.
Really hated "typing" in my email and password every time I tried it.

"Coming Soon" is seen often when selecting different choices.

Paramount/Dreamworks and Sony titles do not require you to register to use the BD-Live features. Universal and Warner allow you basic access to BD-Live without registering (accessing trailers, promotional pages, etc.) but registration is needed for the film specific BD-Live features like My Commentary & Movie Chat.

Disney does require a registration to acccess them.

Tropic Thunder's "documentary outtakes," which are on disc two of the DVD set, are only available via BD-Live.

Kung Fu Panda had a short featurette about young Shaolin Monks.

If you register and use a PC, you can make yoour own commentaries for some Univeral films and allow your firends to access these.

Some of the trivia tracks/enhanced modes for Dreamworks movies are only available to download via BD-Live.

Watch some of the documentary outtakes from Tropic Thunder, and you may become a believer in BD-Live, as I now am.

I love it now, and will check it out on each BD-Live capable BD I get. I hope they continue doing it.

BD-Live has a way to go, yet.

Anytime BD-Live asks you to "type" in a username and password, it becomes a chore.

I liked the BD-Live extras on Kung Fu Panda, but strangely, the Shaolin Monks documentary was not present when I wanted to show it to someone a couple weeks ago. It was really a good program.
