Geez, just today my son (6) says "we played tag at recess today, my legs hurt from the girls chasing me"

Without Tag, homosexuality could run rampant!

If "chased and harrassed against their will" refers to being dragged into the game against their will by bullies, in which case there might be merit (although I still think kids should look after themselves for the most part). If it means they willingly entered the game of tag and got upset when someone chased them, well that's like HD DVD fanboys complaining that Disney is exclusive even though they knew full well about it when they bought their players. (Trying to keep it at least relevant to the forum.)

and your reply... "that's my boy!"

i know this is america where we can have all sorts of lawsuits, but i think any competent parent / person pretty much says "that's kids being kids"

isn't that why there are teachers on the playground? keep an eye on that kind of behavior and allow them to just have fun.

Nah, that would make too much sense.

It is getting ridiculous the way things are today. Its no wonder we live in a society where someone trips and then needs to find someone to sue because they fell. These kids are just going to grow up to be wimps with no backbone.

It's already happening, people taking no responsibility for their actions.
Whatever happened to accountability. I guess the new school of thought is, taketh it away, rather than punish offenders.

Hilarious. I wonder what a baseball game will look like.

To avoid contact, on a grounder the runner runs to first base and the ball is thrown to third base.

Most parents and government are insane...
First they outlawed punishment and put fear into parents (this created Maury Povich, AHHHhhhh).
Then they removed any fun and replaced it with legal concequesces (I have seen several cases of elementary school kids being taken froms school in handcuffs, whoever thinks that was a good idea needs taken to a special place and shot).
2 months ago or so (was on CNN) a jr high kids was charged with sexual assault for hitting a girls butt when running down the hall, OMG!
But thats not the worst part, even though the girl admitted to also doing the same thing, her mom still defended the law and thought the boy should go to PRISON, because he was a future molester, WTF! (our government loves abusing laws more than criminals).
... and another case of extremely defending your kids while blaming another, all parents want special treatment and a better way of life for their kids (cant happen, just makes it worse for everybody else, Americans = selfish, yeah me 2).
I am really scared to be a parent and not ignorarntly bliss, its so rediculous with everybody geting their facts and way of life from fictional TV shows.
The worst phrase ever repeated from middle to lower class: "my lawyer"... WHAT, WHY?

Well I better get off of this rant before I start making sense!
Next stop, anger town...
