"Young Royals" on Netflix - Blu-ray Forum

Fans of shows like "Love, Victor" should check out the swedish show "Young Royals". The first season went online on Netflix last week.

The story isn't all that new with a young guy discovering he's gay and how to deal with it. The twist with this show is, that that young guy also happens to be a prince, which makes things more complicated. Even though the show won't win any awards for originality, it is very entertaining and not in a trashy way, like for example "Elite" has a tendency to be sometimes. A big difference to a lot of US-Teenshows is the fact, that the actors in this show also look like acutal teens and not like almost 30-year olds playing teens.

Nothing new indeed, but it was a great show. Watched the 6 episodes in 2 days. Hoping there will be more episodes to come.
