Just got mine. I don't know how they do it, but 24 hours after I get the shipping notification, it turns up! It takes longer for stuff to actually come from within the UK. I'd buy everything from amazon.de if the exchange rate wasn't so piss poor. I think I got a refund of 1 euro, so that helps.

As for the movie, it doesn't look great - there's a fair amount of what I perceive to be noise instead of grain - but then it's never looked clean and polished on any presentation I can recall.

The TrueHD audio delivers though. It's loud, and proud of it. Awesome.

You mean that little indentation on the front, down at the bottom right? Yup.

It's worth noting that the disc in this German release appears to be the exact same platter we Britishers will also receive, as it defaulted to English language for everything, even the copyright warnings. And the title's the right way up on the spine too. What more could ye want?

Thanks for the confirmation. It's a shame, but this has really made the decision for me. I was on the fence on this one since I've never cared much for this installment in the series (read - it's a bad pointless add-on IMO), but now I'm just going to stick with T2 and T1 or Salvation if those are released as steels.

Most online retailers seem to be like this. FutureShop in Canada is as bad or worse.

they will refund your shipping, I received 12 damaged steels, All 10 Pans were dented badly and 2 Hancock, cost me 49.00 to mail them back and they gave me a refund+that shipping

Thanks for the heads up jwbbud. It cost me $45CDN to send back 4 steels because they just barely broke the 1kg mark and I am/was worried they would just blow that off and I would be stuck with the costs.

wow, that is expensive. I thought mine was bad for 12.......BTW, i wouldnt buy Pans labyrinth as they may resell them

Considering how one Steelbook has an average weight of 200/250 grams (depending on the number of discs, extra content, booklets...) then I'm not that surprise it weighs that much.

Man you all are lucky, only three more weeks to wait for mine

I am sure I am on a "list" with Canada Customs as anything retail from overseas takes a minimum of that time. Other packages take a week max.

I have show the Movie with my PS3 on a 42" Full HD Panasonic Plasma, the quality is not so good but for this old Movie it is ok. The Story of T3 rocks!!!
