Australian Bourne Trilogy - Blu-ray Forum

Does anybody know if The Bourne Trilogy is region free in Australia? It's cheaper to get from there than here in the USA. bluray.liesinc.net isn't updated to show its status.

How sure are you? Almost every single Universal title is region free. The only one locked is Mongol (UK). Webshops are not accurate with information at all!

I guess it's region free, just as its EU and US counterparts.

EzyDVD is very accurate. They listed We Were Soldiers as DTS HD-MA and I thought they may of made an error but when I went instore sure enough they were right. They actually care and make sure they have all the correct information from the box AND the right artwork. Unlike JB hi-fi which lists every Blu-ray as PAL and Dolby Digital 5.1 and never manages to get the right cover art.

That would be very strange. It would mean the made a coded version for Australia only.

Waiting for the UK Bourne boxset is also a good idea.

I have the Italian version from dvdland.it and it's also fairly priced.

I would pay $2 to the member who had said it would Region Locked, if the disc is actually Region Locked.

Not in this case, I bet this is exactly the same as the UK release and thus Region Free.

case in point...says Region B....and it's region free.

Region B is a default for them.

I didn't want to start a new thread on this. But I managed to pre-order the trilogy from Amazon UK for about $49 shipped to the US. And I was wondering are the UK Bourne discs region free? And do the UNi UK discs come in the fat cases?

Just, as said before; Uni discs are region free, except Mongol (UK). All discs from Uni will be coming in fat cases. However, this is a trilogy boxset. That means it could be a gatefold/digipack.
