Beyond thrilled to finally have a Powell and Cardiff collaboration in UHD. Hopefully Black Narcissus (the most gorgeous movie ever made) isn’t far behind!

This is probably my favorite of all the first 4K titles announced from Criterion.

Also hoping Studio Canal drop their 4K transfer of TALES OF HOFFMANN eventually. as long as DAVID M does the encoding.

Great choice for a 4K launch title! The cinematography and colors in this are fantastic!

Amazing news. One of my all times favourites. I'll hold off on selling the BD for now though until I actually have the 4K in my hands.

Probably won't be a Day 1 purchase for me unlike Kane, Muholland Drive, and The Piano, but will certainly be picking this up at some point on UHD. Glad I held off on buying it to this point on prior Criterion sales.

This was one of the first CC DVD's i ever bought. And i've always been debating whether i wanted to upgrade it or buy a title that i didn't already have.

I'm glad I waited. A 4k release answers that question with flying colors.
