I'll be interested to see how this looks - Nova Media had initially announced it on 4K UHD for Korea, before deciding that after they'd done some tests they didn't think it was enough of an upgrade to justify the increased cost

I hope Criterion releases the Wong Kar Wai films in 4K UHD.
My most wanted Criterion 4K would have to be the Godzilla films, though, even with no HDR. Especially if Toho would be willing to give Criterion more freedom to go all out with the Godzilla 4K releases.
And for something really crazy, maybe Criterion and Toho should team up together so that the Criterion discs would also get releases in Japan and Toho won't be mad about reverse importing since both countries will be getting the same ultimate releases.

Not sure how much I believe that personally, sounds rather like an excuse to cover a release that fell though for some other reason.

Yes, both 4K releases (Mood and Happy) have been. See the links provided by others and jpc has both up for pre-order already.

That is confusing - does Koch Films have two shops?! What’s the difference between the shop website you linked to and the one I linked to (https://shop.kochfilms.de/)? I‘ve only ever ordered from the latter one, and there is no indication of those discs on there.

Edit: I don‘t even find a direct order possibility via the links you posted. So my original question/statement stands.

There are links to amazon.de and you can pre-order with jpc already. And both being listed on the Koch site is an official announcement in my book. More so than many other "announcements" that trigger new threads around here I might want to add.
