Wow! I've been hoping for more 4k James Bond releases! Hopefully this is the first of the entire set!!

Does anyone know if this will be released elsewhere?

I hope Warner Bros. Home Entertainment can release this as they release all the old MGM films on home media now. I hope German boutique labels Turbine or Koch Media don't release this.

According to bluray-disc.de it is released by MGM. Which I guess means Warner.

I hope they release all of them with the opening credits artwork so I can finish off that set. Of course these will all be in 4K now, so I'll have to double dip, but it's been annoying me having less than half the films for that collection.

My favourite classic Bond movie. Can't wait to see this steelbook!

When we see a retail price of 1000 euro, we will know it's a Goldbook.

Already Have a nice GOLDFINGER steel, and nice ones for all my other favorite Bonds also, except DR NO. I would love a really nice DR NO for my collection.

Am I right in saying these are the only Bond movies which have a Steelbook:-

1. For Your Eyes Only (BR)
2. From Russia With Love (BR)
3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (BR)
4. Thunderball (BR)
5. You Only Live Twice (BR)
6. Diamonds Are Forever (BR)
7. Casino Royale (BR 2015 and 4k 2020)
8. Quantum of Solace (4k)
9. Spectre (4k)
10. Skyfall (4k)
11. Goldfinger (BR, 50th Anniversary edition)

I know Goldeneye has a steelbook, cause it's one I went out of my way to find.

Those are the only ones with the opening credits art. I think most of the others have had a steel book though, but with other artwork. Most recently all of the Daniel Craig ones got a 4k release with him on the cover against a solid color background.

Canada also released some Bond steels a while back, over 10 years ago with the blue banner across the top when bluray steels first took off
They looked like this:

I didn't know about the Canadian ones or the Goldeneye one.

I wonder what the chances are of every film in the series getting a 4K Steelbook?

Chances are always the same. Between no chance and every chance.

There are a few (less than excellent condition) DR NO steels for sale on Ebay that I believe are Canadian Best Buy. Fairly old design like the Brosnan shown by Andreasp19 that mimics the VHS slips of the Bond collection back in the day. I don't care for it overmuch as I prefer a Bond steel to be a little more exotic, or original.
I did get the ho-hum 4K Daniel Craig SKYFALL BB steel to replace my original BB SKYFALL as it was a horrible looking mess and also slightly damaged.
Best Buy also has the absolute worst quality control of any steelbook supplier IMO. As they keep losing market share they appear to be doubling down on stupid when dealing with customers also. Used to be OK to deal with but nowadays I'm apparently a problem customer if I refuse to pay for a damaged brand new product.
