The short rise of HD DVD sales at Amazon.com has largely fallen back below Blu-ray standard again.

i guess lately the market is affected by the announcements. oh well, i knew BD will fight back and continue to stay on top of things.

Not surprising, since BD still has the much larger install base.

The Paramount/DW announcement and these amazon deals kept HD-DVD in the game that until then it looked almost certain to lose.

But they didn't put HD-DVD ahead of BD or even equal to it.
