I don't know if Amazon.ca (Canada) jumped the gun on posting Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), but they already posted sale listings, giving Nov. 22/2021 as the release date. Of course, they are showing the individual formats (4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD), as well as a 2-Movie/Double Feature set (4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD).

I'm holding off until I see whether BestBuy will offer a 4K Steelbook.

Yeah I'm Canadian but I mean 56$ for a 4K disc is pushing it a lot more than usual. They're normally around 35$ when they come out.

That’s probably not going to be the selling price. They always post a higher amount and reduce it a little until release day. If your item is a pre-order, you’ll pay the lowest value shown and Amazon.ca only charges us when the item ships. I assume Amazon’s policies are similar in the US.

My local Target was completely out of the exclusive by 10:00 AM. I had to order online...

I preordered the Target exclusive. on 10/16.I got notice yesterday that it's backordererd and will be arriving next Tuesday(estimated).

I just checked now though and it says,' Preparing to ship.'

I was thinking about getting the Target exclusive, until I saw it in person. I like the slip artwork but, the banner is part of the slip. I'm talking the whole banner you see pictured. Exclusive fan art, and even the Target logo is part of it. The art cards are at the back of the slip. The case and slip are shrink wrapped a little too tight for my taste. On all 3 copies I saw, that caused bad crimping on the corners. If these are things you don't like then, buy at your own risk.

The runtime on this film was abysmal. I remember seeing this in the theater and it went by so quickly. I enjoyed watching it for the most part but it could've been longer in my opinion, otherwise it should've just been thrown up on a streaming service.

I'll still pick this up on Blu but man, do I wish it was a bit longer...

Check the 3D forum, there is currently no 3D blu ray release for this in any country.
