Maybe a bad power supply? Is it still under warranty?

Yeah . . . sounds like the power supply in the TV may be bad.

If it's a DLP, your bulb dies. That's what my set will does. It will keep trying to turn itself on -- It tries 10 ten before stopping. It's what it's designed to do.

Just replace the bulb -- if it's a DLP. Overwise, ignore me!

Call Samsung. Because it's bigger than 32 inches, which I think is the cut-off, they are supposed to provide on-site service within their warranty. So, they should arrange a hosue call. If it needs to go out to their repair facilities though, yes, you will need to ship it at your own expense.

I own the 46" version of this tv and believe I've read in the AVS owners forum that people have had this problem before and that a firmware update took care of the problem. Are you running the most current firmware which is 1012 i believe. If not try updating if you can. Also try searching in the AVS forum about it. Heres the link http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...light=lnxxa750
