yeh kate is such an attention wh0re and has gone "hollywood". using her kids to launch her "career". didn't one of the kids call her by some other woman's name. ultimate pwnage. i wouldn't say she single handedly ruined the marriage but she played a huge hand in it with her greed.

jon + hair transplant + suped up 350z = better women than kate

really unfortunate the kids will have to go through divorce and possible custody battles in front of the camera.

I remember he talking about that. She said that it's ok because they have people helpign them so she doesn't mind and knows who they are talking about.

anyone who has so many kids using fertility drugs is usually a selfish/crazy douche so you guys shouldn't be very surprised by any of this.

the fact that you guys watch such shows only helps to promote such behavior.

First specifically about tonight's show...

About the show in general...
1. As many who followed the show know, it's very sad that somehow key characters in the show have been FORCED out of the show, ie Aunt Jody and Beth. It's weird that none of them were at the sextuplets B-day party. How do you have B-Day party for the kids and not have any relatives there? Weird. This is our biggest beef with the show.
2. We always have and always will LOVE those kids! Happy to see Madi not get abused much tonight like she has in the last several years.. I think Madi is gonna be awesome when she gets older! She is probably our favorite kid!
3. Kate needs to stop belittling and abusing Jon. At least she acknowledged it on the show.
4. Jon needs to grow up and stop being stupid.
5. Kate is not my favorite but she gets piled on a bit too much.

Well we've given alot of ammo for people to create a lively discussion so have at it!

There is a scene with them on the couch together, they didn't say much though.......
This episode was designed to make Kate look like the good guy, they didn't address allegations that she is having an affair with her bodyguard. The reality is that in all relationships it's a 50/50 deal. Both behaviors contribute to either positive or negative results, both people have to work on a relationship and no one person's behavior out weighs the other. Kate has become enamored of being famous and Jon is resentful of her and the overstuffed life they have and the loss of privacy and normalcy. Their jobs that they get paid for are the open display of their day to day lives. Nothing could be harder if you ask me.....

They did use fertility drugs but not in vitro. They used Intrauterine Insimination, completely different. And most couples who have fertility problems use the exact same method. It just happens occassionally you get more than one. They are not like the Crazy OCto mom who insisted on have 8 fertilized eggs inserted. It all happened inside of the uterus for Jon and Kate.

My fiance' started me off watching that show a few years back. I used to always tell her that Jon looks miserable. You could tell he's only been there for the kids... and the 75k per episode . Kate seems like she's a control freak and treats him like one of the kids. But then again, I've never lived in their household and she may have her reasons.

Maybe he can start his own show and call it "Jon minus nine".

There is nothing wrong with fertility drugs, only with the people who abuse them. In your view you could apply your logic to any drug. I could say heart meds are bad, if your heart is going bad just die. It makes no sense. Sure there are people out there who abose these drugs to try to get rich, but not near as many as people who truly want to have their own child and have gone through years of trying with no success, selfish it is not. Wanting to have a child is fine and having a child is one of the greatest things that will happen to most people and if they need a little help with that then they have the right, your view is very narrow. Adoption is not available to everyone either as it is ridiculously expensive and tough to make happen.

That's such a narrow, simple-minded, and ridiculous statement that it could only come from an internet forum. And no, my wife and I have had no issues having children.

Adoption is not the same as having your own child. Yes, fools like octo-mom are abusing the drugs but to say it's only for "egotistical, selfish people" is such an inflammatory blanket statement that it has to be trollbait.

Do you have children? Have you ever tried to have children for months or years without success? Have you visited fertility clinics? Have you had the uncomfortable conversation of asking your spouse to visit one since it could be his or her "fault"? Have you spend countless time and dollars on finding a solution to the problem? Having children comes very easy to some; for others, it's a hellish experience that comes with negative results time and time and time again.

i feel bad for the kids, not necessarily now b/c they are younger yet and may not grasp everything that is going on, but when they are older and see the tapes of all this....could really mess some of them up.

that and the fact that divorce is just terrible when kids are involved, esp. w/kids that young!!!
