Default Dell 17" Inspiron 1737 Laptop PC with Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 Processor and Blu-Ray

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ct_id=11066131

Does anyone know how good this is? Because me and Toshiba are f***in' done professionally. I'm not going through the same stress that I did with my last laptop and this replacement A305-S6860 is acting up so I'm selling it off. For the Dell Inspiron it states:

Key Features & Benefits:

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6400

2.0GHz/800 FSB/ 2MB Cache

4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 800MHz

Offers very fast performance without lag

320GB Hard Drive

Store photos, music, videos and more

Glossy widescreen 17" display (1440 x 900)

Powered by the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (256MB) graphics card

Additional Features

Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with SP1; Blu-ray/CD/DVD Combo Drive - Plays and creates CDs/DVDs and plays Blu-Ray Disc; 8-in-1 Media Card Reader; 10/100/1000 Ethernet; Dell 1397 b/g wireless card; Dell 1397 b/g wireless card; Backlit Keyboard; Built-in 2.0MP webcam; 9-cell Battery; 1-Year Return to Depot and 24x7 Technical Support; McAfee SecurityCenter with anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, 30-Days ; Microsoft Works ; Adobe Reader 9

Shipping Weight (in pounds): 20.45
Wal-Mart No.: 011066131

Price it's asking for is $948. Is that too much for it?

At any point that they list 'store videos and pictures' as a bonus, avoid it.

man i got an HP with a better processor and the rest equivalent stats for 550. do you really want 17inch and a bluray drive to watch blurays on a 17 inch screen? if so go for it, else there are tons of "good" and "fast" notebooks that can be had for ~600.

Well, pretty much I would like something cheap that can play my Blu's off my external drive. Since Toshiba is the s**ttiest laptop maker, I cannot function with this replacement. They gave me a Satellite A305-S6860 and I'm planning on selling it used for about $725 - $650. A new one runs for about $900.
