The recordings are absolutely incredible. One of the best "samplers" I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.

Did you guys get your copies?

This sampler is AMAZING for both recording quality and material. Do you prefer DTS MA or LPCM?

Yep, if you like that sampler, check out the full releases. The Divertimenti is probably the best all-around.

I prefer the PCM. There is a "watermark" in the DTS-HD MA code to prevent or prove cases of piracy. The watermark is billed as having no effect on the audio, but I can hear some difference (that sounds coarser) on the treble and elsewhere (though not as easy to pick out). It doesn't sound "bad" and probably not even "worse" per se, but it's there and I don't like it as much as LPCM or multichannel SACD versions.

Yeah I thought the PCM sounded better also but it was listed as "second" so I left it on DTS MA. I will take your word for it and leave it on PCM from now on. Thanks!

Sorry to drag this back up, but I wanted to know if the Nordic Sound blu ray had any video or if it was only audio. Also, where does it stand for reference quality audio compared to other blu rays?

the shipped to me, I received the Nordic Sound. I put pop the disc on my PS3.

I noticed that collection music soundtracks from 2L on video. I can pick any music on picture soundtracks for video and audio DTS HD 5.1 , PCM 5.1 and PCM 2.0 are sweetest of the life!!

Yes, but not movie...only video and audio for blu-ray the nordic sound. For example

almost like i-pod. A soundtracks different picture music, What you like which is a music on picture video for only blu-ray and second disc bonus SACD is only audio.

This is quite a wildshot, and for those who are from Norway probably know of this, but 2L is having a guided tour on 22. August in their studio.

Not really. If I drive like a maniac I could probably be there within one hour

Won't be going though, don't really care for classical pieces

But I will buy thei disc and compare BD to SACD.
