On active systems there is a lot, which is strange since compared to Turtles Tale 2 which had a ton of extreme foreground parallax yet dramatically less instances of crosstalk than Turbo. (Keep in mind, the crosstalk I post about is still very faint for the most part.... Just being nitpicky for conversation sake). Overall, I'd say Turbo displayed the most instances of crosstalk (different from examples of extremely noticeable crosstalk) out of any 3D bluray I own. Again though, the crosstalk is faint and did not take away from the presentation at all.

Yeah, my Sony passive system is really good about that 99% of the time. On the other hand, for whatever reason Amityville 3D totally falls apart on pop outs while depth remains crystal clear and really impressive. Considering that 3D as a gimmick is pretty much that film's only redeeming quality it really was a huge disappointment for me.

I noticed the most crosstalk of any movie I have with Turbo. I have a passive 3d tv. Overall, the 3D is still awesome though.

I just ordered this one in 3D. I'm usually not huge on animated movies, but my Auro-3D demo disc came with a 2D preview using Auro-3D sound and it looked like it might be amusing so I ordered the 3D version.
Unfortunately, they never released the Auro-3D soundtrack on Blu-Ray other than that snippet (shame since it's already made) and it sounded great in the preview. I can only hope Neural X does a good job with it (usually pretty good so long as there is already a decent surround track in the movie). |

This movie was much better than I expected, and the 3D was solid as usual from Dreamworks

If you’re doing it right (and depending where you are) you can get used copies of this for $6-9 and new for not much more. At that price movies like this are a no brainer. If you only watch it once it’s not the end of the world, a cheap night in
![]() Hope you enjoy it though! I wouldn’t rush back to rewatch it but I would actually rewatch it and I didn’t think I would say that before I actually saw it lol |

Why is the thread title saying "Region Locked" when the disc is Region Free? Is there some disc which is Region Locked?
By the way, the Indian 3D Blu-ray release is Region Free. Indian 3D + HD Blu-ray Combo Indian 3D Blu-ray + DVD Combo |

I remember hating this movie and really can't remember the quality of the 3D. I now am curious so it will be my next watch.

The movie was interesting, but not something I wanted to rush out to see again right away. Even so, much better than Pixar's Cars 2: Tow Truck IMO. |

I just watched Turbo in 3D. The DTS-HD MA 7.1 sound upmixed to Neural X pretty darn well. The overlapping Auro-3D demo I have sounds somewhat better, but Neural X gets about 85%-90% there, IMO and it does feature rear surrounds (Auro 11.1 is 5.1 + up to 6 overheads) that the Auro version did not, which you can actually hear discretely in a few places.
The 3D was excellent with loads of smooth shifting negative parallax (pop-outs that don't just "pop" but smoothly move out of the screen like you'd expect a real 3D camera to do when something approaches it). Frankly, it might be the best 3D I've seen with animated CGI other than perhaps Thunder in the House of Magic (which is bonkers with jump in your face pop-outs). The story was...insane, but somehow highly amusing to me, as in it's so over-the-top it's funny even in places I'm not sure it's trying to be. Overall, I enjoyed it quite a bit. |
