I didn't recognize Ryan Lee at first (the kid from Super 8 and Trophy Wife), and Devon Sawa is a blast from the 90s past lol Kind of a missed opportunity to not release on Nov 23rd or 27th, looks interesting but I'll probably wait until next Halloween-ish to check it out.

Love Bruce, but this looks like a SNL skit gone too long.
Predictable and dumb- something you half watch while on your phone.
Too shiny and cute.

I imagine there can be a good version of this premise- this ain’t it.
Heck even a throw back slasher version would be cool.

Stop remaking evil dead- remake this.

I bought this on Vudu to support the film and it's pretty bad. The cast is very likeable and the plot held my interest until the third act where it just became very laughable.

I wouldn't spend more than $4.99 on this so if you're interested in it wait for a sale.

I wanted to watch this a lot until I saw all the bad reviews for it. I'm probably just going to hold off on watching it until it's on TV to watch. The IMDB rating keeps going lower & lower every time I check. I don't think IMDB is the be all end all for movie ratings but in my own personal case whenever a movie is below a 5.0 rating 9 out of 10 times I don't like the movie.

The premise of the film is about three times better than the film itself. It's a massive shame.

I wouldn't blind buy this, it's pretty bad. The premise is good but the Romero-esque satire it promises isn't embodied in the action, merely talked about in interludes. The production is shoddy too: I was never for a moment convinced that this was a real store or that the main characters were real employees, and neither the general geography or the dramatic stakes were well enough conveyed to create tension. There's a few nice physical creature fx but even they aren't particularly inventive and Bruce Campbell fans will be disappointed with what he has to do here, despite a cheap attempt to give him a kick-ass moment in the climax.

They took such an simple, obvious approach to this premise- with what could have been a cool 70’s type of throw back similar to Black Christmas- they end up with trash.
I thought Bruce “retired”?
He comes back for this?

I remember that Bull Moose had a pre-order up for $14.99, deleted the listing (which disappeared from my cart) and put up a new listing for the $20+ one. I'm guessing the $14.99 one was a error from the distributor and Amazon hasn't deleted the listing yet.

As far as I know, he only retired from playing Ash.

Has anyone found this in any stores? I haven't been able to make it out to my town due to the snow earlier this week, and being called in to shovel/salt sidewalks and steps at my job location.

Is this worth a blind buy?
