Oh yeah, I’ll most definitely sell the ones I already have in favor of getting this. These are beautiful!

Even if they aren't 4K and I already have all these films..... I'm thinking this is still a day one for me. I never got the steels for kong and KOTM.

Guess I'll be the first to say not all that great. What's with the incredibly plain white backgrounds? Looks like someone made Clipart in MS paint. Spine colors are random with no uniformity. Maybe if you missed out on the now expensive originals get it but not double dip worthy.

Day 1 if they’re 4K embossed/debossed. Here’s to hoping.

Currently available to pre-order from Amazon Italy for a Dec. 9th release. Also available to pre-order in Germany but those retailers don't ship outside of Germany. Dec. 9th release date as well.

No information about a U.S. release.

They include 4K and Blu-ray discs.

Good to know!

I have 3/4 of the original Best Buy steelbooks.

Not sure if I should get this set instead OR just buy the 1 remaining I don't have on ebay (Kong Skull Island)?

Why are people trapped in Godzilla's bladder?
Why is someone in Kong's chest cavity?
Someone appears to be stuck in Godzilla's esophagus making him choke.
Kong's new tattoo is...of someone.

These are all truly terrible. Who designed this garbage?

I like how they incorporate some of the human character art into them (even if they're the worst part of these films) but they are rather boring looking. I honestly prefer the previous Steelbooks. I probably would have been all over this if they had released it last Summer. I don't really need it now though.

The outer box art is pretty cool.

At least the box isn’t some cheap cardboard garbage. They do look pretty cool though.

The artwork is just lazy and uninspired to me. And they couldn't even come up with spine colors that vary enough from one another for Skull Island, and G vs K. For a series of Kaiju movies, these are just completely boring. Like Mondo rejects or something. I'm glad for those that like it, but it just screams wasted potential to me.

Imagine if they had artwork along the lines of these instead? These represent monster movies way more than the cookie cutter crap they went with.

If I didn’t already have the excellent steelbooks for these movies I’d consider it, but I’m happy to save my money this time around. No double dip for me.

I only have the steels for Godzilla 2014 and Godzilla vs Kong (missed out on Skull island and King of the monsters and they are insanely expensive on ebay) so I should be excited for this but meh, like others have said, very boring art. The first Skull island and Godzilla 2014 4k steels are beautiful, much much better than this.

I don't feel so bad missing out of the previous 4k steelbooks of these now.

Dig the art too. Hopefully we get a release and price soon

Given as pricey as the U.S. 4K steels of some of these have gotten and that I didn't initially grab them, this is a no brainer for me.

While German retailers may not be shipping to the U.S., amazon.it is. I cancelled my order for the Mad Max 4K steelbook set from Zavvi US and ordered both it and this set from amazon.it, as it greatly reduced the per-set shipping bite (17 euros for the first set and 3 euros for the second). Total cost for both steelbook sets shipped is US$223, or $111.50 per set. In contrast just the Mad Max set was US$150 from Zavvi US after tax and shipping.

I have all the previous UHD Steels. So no need for this.

Even as a kaiju collector, buying it would be like accepting the MonsterVerse is done. Never!
