The best deal and the best quality are two different questions.

You wont find both.

At least one more.

Terminator - buy the first release, cheaper and the same as lenicular edition.
T2 - the jury is still out, but from the mixed reciews it seems Skynet Edition is the best available
T3 - no choice, I think the 2007 edition was pulled and only 2008 is available

I'm thinking about starting a thread for marcruz19 to discuss the the differences in the US, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong ,France, UK and German releases of T3.

I own the skynet version also and my favorite is the Key Code (Happy Ending) it's a little over 2hrs & 30mins Version. and that one has Great PQ/AQ. IMO

fyi.. the code is the same as on the DVD. 82997

It would be a welcome thread in my opinion as I'm leaning towards the UK T3 release.

Does anybody know if there are any foreign (outside US) Terminator 1 releases that are superior to the US T1 release?

(I put the 1 in there because if I just say Terminator, we'll get about 200 posts regarding T2 & T3 editions)

The T2 Skynet edition has a ton of DNR. But, most people like that, so.... take your pick. The original edition if you are a purist and want the grain and skynet edition if you dont.

As for the best deal, the original version of T2 can easily be had for less than $10.

To my knowledge, there is no other T1 release anywhere except the US.

So...are these the best options?

Terminator - Lenticular Cover or Original Blu-Ray
Terminator 2 - Skynet edition or Japanese edition (Costs too much though)
Terminator 3 - UK edition

Yes, mainly due to having a lossless audio track.

Absolutely.

The UK release of T2 (by Optimum Home Entertainment) is also superior to both US releases where PQ and AQ are concerned.

It was "No Problimo"

the only thing I do not like about this Sky Net Version is the warning page saying this player has no BD_Live Connection. and I have to hit enter a
few times before it goes to main menu.

other than that it's a Cool Blu-Ray Disc IMHO.

Just watched the skynet version last night. I opted for the original Theatrical Version and was dissapointed with the audio. The menu system is very complicated and clunky with all the different versions and extra content. I wonder if another version on the disc has better audio? I had to put the receiver in 5ch stereo because I wasn't getting good vocal out of the center channel.
