It has been 3 months since I ordered and paid for Kwaidan blu ray. Originally they responded to my inquiries stating that it is on backorder. But in the last 30 days I have tried many times and they do not respond.

I just cancelled all my remaining pre-orders fm UV and they've sent me the refunds. I've pretty much had it with their crap and would rather pay more to order elsewhere.

I just received my UV Criterion/Arrow order today!

Hey, I discovered something. If you register your address, name & email on the Canada Post App, they inform you whenever someone sends a trackable package to you.

Of course, UV has not been providing tracking numbers since the new website was setup. I received a tracking number directly from Canada Post the day UV prepared the electronic info for pickup. It even picked up some of my US packages, even though I already was tracking those using the USPS site separately.

I only learned about this recently. I hope this will work for The Beat Goes On and Disney Movie Club. Those vendors also do not provide tracking numbers, although there's always a barcode on the box when it shows up at my door.

Dont get your hopes up too much. Its the same 'app' they had for flex delivery which sometimes sent a notice, sometimes not until it stopped working altogether after all 'app' accounts were wiped out due to a 'web security upgrade'.

I just tried your suggestion and sent an email to all 4 of those. I have waited 100 days now for my Kwaidan order and I am ready to give up, accept the 45 dollar loss and buy from Amazon.

I just visited their website to verify email addresses and too my shock and amazement they are running a new criterion sale...... I have not been able to get a response from them in over a month and they already have my money, but they have the resources to launch a new sale, and that sale includes the item in question they claim has been on backorder for over 3 months now (just reached 100 days yesterday since the order was placed).

yep I just ordered from Amazon, I am sick of waiting. If one day the UV copy arrives I'll nail it to a cheap wooden panel and engrave a steel plate to say:

Well not quite 100 days, I ordered a bunch of titles from the UV Kino Lorber sale at the beginning of October. Two weeks later, I ordered some titles direct from KL that UV didn't have on sale. It has been a week since I've received my States KL order, and my Canadian UV order is still processing, with no response back.

If this is the best that Canada has to offer for boutique resellers, I may just stick with ordering direct from the States.

Hopefully someone will reply to your email...it usually takes around 24-48 hrs before they respond. Your email header needs to be assertive though. I've written "3rd Request", "4th Request", "PLEASE ACKNOWKLEDGE"

What method did you use to pay? File a claim with your credit card or PayPal or bank, or whomever. I don't think they've run off with your money and will never send the item, but there's no excuse for you having to wait that long.

I noticed that as well. However I once again starting getting email notices for delivered items to my PO Box a few months ago. Before I had to put a email address if I knew the tracking number.
Not sure if I would get a notice for something without tracking.
