I had preordered the lenticular cover about 2 weeks ago when YesAsia put up preorders for it (you just needed to do some searching to find it). I only really wanted Nova's "2046" and "Fallen Angels" which I now have.

Went pretty quick.
Woke up 5 minutes after it opened and missed the 1-click.

Managed to grab the Lenti at least.

All sold out within 30 minutes.

How does one get advance notice for these Nova Media releases? I subscribe to Nova Media's newsletters/announcements, but the emails always come on the day of release ... never before that. (And the announcements are always in Korean time, which throws me off too). Plus for some reason, Nova Media's newsletters/announcements always show up in my junk folders. I have no idea why.

They posted details and some reminders on Instagram.

I ordered one-click B, lenticular and fullslip.
So glad to get my hands on these.

Thanks. I've never used Instagram before. sigh.

My choice was easy because the only version I could find that was available was the 1/4 slip, so that's what I ordered.

I know what you mean. I was at the office with a lot of work to do.
Set my alarm clock to 10 minutes before the pre-order starts. Logged in, pre-loaded the webpage. My alarm rings, refresh, refresh, add to cart, pay, log off and back tomwork again. It felt like a formula 1 pit stop 😅.

So it can be tricky, but you have to watch these forums as well as subscribe to their newsletter. If their email goes in the junk folder, then retrieve it from your junk folder and your email utility will know to keep that email address from now on.

You can also subscribe to them on Facebook.

As for the Korean time, just make yourself an appointment in your calendar (Outlook, Google, Yahoo, etc.). Go into the time option and enter it in Korean time and specify Korean time zone and it will adjust to your local time for you.

I sent myself reminders the day before in my calendar and also the morning of, if it is something that I really want.

Sometimes there are also GBs by Triggers in the GB forum.

Thanks. For some reason, Nova Media's email newsletters always go to my junk folder ... always have. And if I happen to catch it, I move it to my inbox. But even if it was delivered to the correct inbox, it still leaves almost no time to do any kind of research ... because the emails seem to be delivered within hours (or less) of the sale going live ... and always in the very early morning hours while I'm sleeping.

I try to avoid Facebook, so maybe I'll just have to live with either getting lucky in hearing of the releases in time or paying extra if I miss out on buying direct.

Thanks for the tip on using a calendar to convert Korean time to my local time zone and for setting up an appointment to alert me.

Lots of stuff to stay on top of for these sales.

Yes! Good old wdpung, just got the full slip. That was my second choice (actually wanted the lenticular), but I'm happy to get it.
He still has one copy left and 2 of the the 1/4 slip if anybody else missed this one.
