Hi Friends,

I wanted to share with you some exciting news about a new venture I launched a couple of days ago. In response to the recent Amazon policy change that has driven up shipping costs, I decided to launch my own website dedicated to serving Canadians looking for DVD’s and Blu-ray’s. I know that if this were a business venture the path to success would be very narrow if not impossible. I’m doing this as a passion project with the hopes that we can connect Canadian movie collectors with that next great title. As a passion project I believe the path to success is within reach. So, I’m not trying to make a living wage, but just enough to cover costs, and if I was able to make a little extra to supplement my personal retirement that would be a nice bonus.

I’m hoping you might consider doing two things. First, please come to the website and check it out; it’s not fancy, but it gets the job done. As members of this great Facebook community I know you love movies; so maybe you’ll find the next title you want to add to your collection. Second, please consider telling a few friends about this new website, you might not know who else is collecting DVD’s and Blu-ray’s. Word of mouth will be the difference between success and failure.

I don’t have a lot of titles listed just yet. So, if you’re looking for something you don’t see listed I still might have it available. Send me a quick note through the website with the title you want and I should be back to you within 24 hours to let you know if it’s available.

Being one of our first customers deserves a bonus. Just enter “Firstfor5” for a 5% discount before March 31, 2022. Also, as a special bonus we are small enough that we don’t have to collect tax.

Nice, thanks for sharing. I've ordered from them through Amazon in the past, but Amazon is always a last resort for me, so I'm happy to have another online option that supports a small business (particularly a Canadian one)!

Looks like they’ve added a lot more titles to their online inventory and added a way to search for only Blu-rays.

Some prices are too high, yes. But they have a couple of Kino titles (The Stranger, and The Evil Eye) for $20 I’m considering.

Not too many independently-owned Canadian stores around these days. I’m grateful this place exists.
