It seems as if studios are trying to clump a bunch of useless crap (for most people) together to get more money for a release instead of just selling you the movie. Warner is doing it with their classic movies now (Casablanca, Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, etc.). Just sell me *the movie* at a reasonable price. |

I'm not sure where the OP got that number from, but it's just plain incorrect. Last edited by benricci; 06-01-2009 at 02:34 PM. |

$39.99 is the new retail price for catalog titles on Blu-ray like The Waterboy, Monster's Inc., The English Patient, and Chocolat. I said it in the Hannah Montana thread, when other compaines are going down, Disney/Buena Vista is going up. |

I don't know why but sometimes amazon has an incorrect, inflated list price when the item is first on there and then it is corrected.

Disney can jack up the price if they want to, as long as they continue to provide quality on all their releases. I pay a premium price for premium goods.
If you want a cheaper price, buy a DVD. I for one use Digital copies, DVD copies, and Blu-ray with great PQ and AQ every time. I applaud Disney for their price structure. Retailers will heavily discount, these. I guarantee they will still end up costing $24.99-$29.99 at most retailers on release date, and better sales will follow later. Good things come to those who wait. |

I thought this would be a good place to post this:
http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/li...m_url_coupon_a It's a $10 off coupon for the Bluray version of Race to Witch Mountain. So if you buy from Best Buy, where it's priced at $25.99, and use the coupon then your total comes out to $15.99! But hurry the coupon is only for one week. |

Well from what I figure, now mind you this is a guess. It's just some program that sends the coupon to your printer, nothing major. I would just click run and then after it's done exit out. Or you can save it and then delete it after you print out the coupon, it's up to you. I think it's to avoid multiple coupon printing.
