Surprised the release is even getting a steel book release. But I suppose it's a relief for collectors that a Showtime series is actually getting a physical release as there have been very few these past three years.

Might have to get this...

Unless it ends up one day on Apple TV...won't have any other way of watching. In Canada it's being shown on Crave - but I refuse to pay for yet another bloody streaming service.

That said, what the hell is Bull Moose?!?!?

They're gonna need a good steel to try and sell this show.
I was a fan of the original DEXTER but this re-boot is lame as hell imo.

Have not watched it yet, but really wanted to as I am a fan of the first 5 seasons. Has good ratings on both ends so you would be in the minority I guess.

HBO TV series like Game of Thrones and Westworld are offered on the 4K Blu-ray format. I wonder if Showtime has any plans for a 4K Blu-ray release for TV series like Dexter New Blood. The big question is did Showtime use 8K or 4K digital cameras for the Dexter New Blood TV series? Maybe it was produced at 2K. I have a family member that is a Dexter fan. The original Dexter series was very popular Showtime series and that is why all 8 seasons were released on the standard Blu-ray format with lossless audio.

Personally think New Blood is fantastic... I always enjoyed Dexter, though, even the weaker seasons.

it's being aired in 4K. I'll get the steelbook if it's 4K.

Did I miss the announcement on the main page? I just found out about this listing by chance. I will get this, day one, as I loved the show, even though I am still recovering from the shocking last episodes (yes, I only saw good in the last episodes and seasons, as opposed to what many people think).
There is no release date on this site, is actually happening? I mean, that it's even listed with a "2021" release date on DeepDiscount is good sign.
I will place my order now. I can't wait to watch it!

What a ridiculous ending. Why even bother bringing back the series? What was the purpose? Just cancelled my preorder. Horrible writers

Ah I have not been able to watch it yet, but this is not something I want to hear....

The last episode was way too rushed. Had it been made into a two hour event, it could have worked much better, but I’ll take New Blood over nothing.
