Default Projectors with built in Blu-ray players might never be released

I prefer separate components instead of combination units. However, I decided to post this since I have never seen a product like this. In the past consumers could purchase a CRT tube TV’s with DVD players built in, those went out of production when flat panels became super thin. Now consumers can purchase a 150 inch 720P projector with a built in 480i DVD player. Bulb life is 20,000 hours and the projector only costs around $134.99 to $149.99.

Its to bad there is no Blu-ray player combination projectors on the market for around $1,000+. However personally I like separate components and would not want a DVD or Blu-ray player built into a projector or TV. However, some consumers want this so that they do not need to connect a HDMI cable up to a external DVD or Blu-ray player.

Looks like the Amazon website has a similar model of this 720P projector with built in 480i DVD player for only $109 with free shipping.

It looks like projectors with DVD players are very popular. There are several models on the market. Its too bad there is not a $500 to $1,000+ projector with built in Blu-ray player. It would only add around $50 to the cost of the projector to include a Blu-ray player.

But then again I never buy combination products since it makes it hard to upgrade and when something breaks the entire piece of equipment needs replaced.

Edited because I read it wrong.

I couldn't understand the idea it may never happen along with examples of it already happened but that was for DVD.

I almost forgot about DVD.

Seems neither of us WANT a projector with built in blu ray player so if they are never released, it's a win?
