The flower face woman at the end is right out of Resident Evil.

This might be an action horror game like Evil Within or Resident Evil 6.

Slitter I think refers to how the face of the person slits apart and reveals a monstrous form underneath the person. Not the best title for a game but I guess it describes what happens to the victims of this disease.

Well it's been a few years since this was first announced, but I went onto the PS Store and Slitterhead is now a playable demo to download.

This is a fun game for a horror game! You can take control of dogs or people in a small open city, and learn to fight these slitterhead monsters. As a person, you can jump, walk, jog and climb onto some rooftops, and unlock the ability to fight with blood weapons and defend yourself. I even had one character jump from way up top to the ground far below to see what would happen. The game later prompts that too in the story.

The demo is lengthy enough, and lets you transfer the saved data to the full game. I will buy this full game as it's clever, innovative and fun to play with good controls. You can freely warp into any person you see on the map. I don't know if the full game opens up the city further. The city looks good at night with all the neon lights.

It's a free roam combat game from what I got from it so far. Probably the most original game I've played in awhile.

I recommend downloading the free Slitterhead demo on PS Store for PS5.

Nice! I wasn't really digging what I was seeing in the trailers, but I'll give the demo a try.

Yeah, the trailers reminded me of Dead Space or some merciless monster survival game, but this is more creative and fun surprisingly. The ability to warp into any human or dog is unique IMO.

I downloaded the demo but have not tried it yet unfortunately.

The game will let you walk around anywhere in the decent sized city, which reminds me of the Sleeping Dogs game city in Hong Kong. I was just testing out the game and ignoring going to the different start mission points, and it let me just do what I wanted, which was fun.

A clever game, reminds me of how in DriverSF, you could warp into any vehicle you wanted to warp to. Very much like that but humans here.

Definitely an interesting demo. The ability to transfer your consciousness into animals reminded me a little of that Murdered Soul Suspect game where you can possess cats. I guess also slightly similar to Watch Dogs Legion too, where you can play as any character.

Good points.
Yeah, that is the most fun aspect of the game. Like when fighting a boss, you can switch to other humans.

Forming the blood to become weapons is unique too.

I think these aliens are giant bug parasites, probably the eggs ingested by the humans, who then turn ghastly.
