Default Is there a Blu-Ray player comparison somewhere?

I'm just wondering what are the differences between all blu-ray players, especially when comparing it to a PS3. Is there much of a difference in picture and sound quality?

There have been numerous discussions on this forum regarding differences among all the players, be it a stand alone or the PS3. If you use the search function you'll find them I'm sure.

The video dept. manager at my local Bestbuy stated that w/ the exception of the Denon or most expensive Pioneer model there is no discernable difference, and even then it is only noticeable if you are scrutinizing every detail. My PS3 plays flawlessly including the upconverting feature which truly makes my standard dvds look like hi-def. The PS3 is the best piece of HD entertainment hardware to be found.
I don't fall into the PS fanboy category as I never owned a PS2 b/c I felt it was inferior to the original Xbox. The reverse holds true in my opinion now. I do own a 360 solely b/c of the soon to be released Halo 3.
