I think except for the always bombing nintendo ms and sony are even sony a bit better because they did A true demo of their motion. But we really didn't get any shockers like resident evil 6, mgs 5 exc.

i did like the Mario Galaxy 2 announcement from nintendo
i've been waiting for a new console Zelda announcement for a while now though

Sony. They beat Nintendo at it's own game with the motion-controlled controller.

The improved Wiimote may have been better than the original, but the Sony one just kicks sand in it's face.

I'm leaning in Sony's direction as well, as cool as Super Mario Galaxy 2 is {I've lost more of my social life on the first one than most other games} and Super Mario Bros. Wii the Sony motion capture thing is bad@$$ especially if they throw some games along with it that allow you to swing the lightsaber or something similar.

Hell a God of War mod where you're allowed to use those as the Blades of Chaos!

My ratings anyway, Sony destroyed the competition with MAG,Uncharted 2,The Last Guardian and God of War 3 all 4 exclusive games only playable on Sony PS3 no PC or other console.

the only good thing about nintendo was golden sun and microsoft's show was abysmal to say the least nothing new, all multiplatform games and that lame Eyetoy ripoff.

the first galaxy did take up a good bit of my life when i first got it last year
it was much better than sunshine
but i don't have it anymore, i sold my wii off to get into blu
it had to be one or the other and movies are more important to me than games
i'll probably pick up the next nintendo console though and the couple of good wii games that are sure to be out by then if its backwards compatible

this was the first E3 i watch without owning a game console actually

i'm waiting for a $299 PS3 whenever that may be
i believe the production cost is down to $400US as of january is it not?

E3 has been great so far, I only have a 360 currently, used to own a Wii as well but there was no games I liked so I sold it and I'm looking to buy a PS3 in the future.

For me, Microsoft was the winner out of the three companies, Project Natal looks very intriguing, I am really looking to forward to seeing how developers will use it. All the games they demoed were quite impressive mainly Alan Wake, not to mention Left 4 Dead 2, Crackdown 2, RB: The Beatles and Halo: OSDT which also look good. 9.0 / 10

The Playstation conference was excellent as well. My favourite thing was the demo of Assassin's Creed 2 which looked incredible. Those motion sticks they showed with the PS3 eye were pretty cool. Overall, they did their job in getting me excited over the software coming out on the PS3 and I'm definitely wanting to pick up one even more now. 8.0 / 10

Nintendo once again disappointed, it was great to see more Mario games and Red Steel 2 looked pretty decent but really, there wasn't one game that really got me stoked and I found the focused far too much on the DS. Plus the Wii Motion Plus didn't impress me at all once I saw what Microsft did with Project Natal. 4.5 / 10

I have to say though, the Press Conference that took it for me was Ubisoft's because they showed a ton of footage of new games. Splinter Cell: Convinction looks awesome as does COD: MW2. James Cameron coming out and talking about Avatar was wicked too. 9.5 / 10

I didn't see any of the leaked PS3 videos other than the PSP-Go pictures ahead of time. So most of the video stuff impressed. I'm really looking forward to MAG, Assasin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2, GOW 3, The Last Guardian, GT5. Even that create your own racing game seemed cool if it comes out as a cheap PSN game. (doubt it)

The motion control blew Natal away IMO. Zero lag from what I could tell, extremely accurate, full 3D space interpolation. None of that was shown with Natal. It will be interesting to see how they translate that to actual gameplay. Natal seemed to be more of a rehash of Eyetoy interactivity. Granted it is more powerful than that but it looks very limiting, and boring at that. Same problem I have had with the Wii. PS3's control could fall into that category as well, but techwise I think it is superior. The videos for Natal also looked extremely close to the style of the original Home promo videos. Not of the gameplay, but how it was presented. My guess is that it will bomb or make as small of a splash as Home has for Sony. Expect delays, limited functionality, and quickly forgotten.

I didn't watch MS's conference but from the videos I've seen it didn't impress me. Left4Dead 2 looks really good. Natal, snooze. The new Halo game looked horrible. That franchise lost me at Halo 2. Overall the 360 is getting very dated. I don't see much coming that would make me want to get a 360. I bet we'll see an announcement of the next Xbox at next year's E3.

Nintendo, I don't even pay attention to them anymore.

The new PSP seems like a waste. Back to full price, no real new functionality. Just get working on the PSP2, touchscreen, dual analog, motion control.

I liked what all the systems had to offer.
Still in my opinion nintendo is the only company actually making a profit off of there systems. Wii & DS have blown them out of the water and the wii isnt even hd capable. ps3 needs a price cut (which sony cant really afford to do unless they take out the stuff that makes it cool) & 360 needs better hardware (which wont happen until the next system)

I'm hype about uncharted 2...but other than that i'm still playing super mario world and i cant wait for the new mario brothers game and red steel 2/no more heroes 2.

I dont think they even make the xbox system anymore.
And i give the ps2 props they have sold alot of units and are still going strong.

Most of the wii bashing is opinion based really...If you check total units sold & check how much money sony and microsoft have both lost in these 2 systems you will see facts..which is all i was saying really...I have a ps3, ps2 & a wii. I like all three systems. I do know it costs alot to make a ps3 and they probably arent making money off of the systems right now . And microsoft had alot of problems with there hardware which costed them big. But they cut corners and had a price cut which helped.

The things about wii i like...anyone can play..my whole family has fun with it. And you can play old games on it like mario. I have always been a big nintendo fan but there all good in there own way.

I'm glad sony won. I have a 360 but I never play that thing. My PS3 however gets played all the time. Shit I have two of them. I don't have a wii but the only reason I would get one is to play the new punchout game lol. But I won't spend money to get a wii to play one game.

Well...if you think about it...Sony made a system HD capable with a blu ray player....microsoft made a system with killer online..and hd capable..and hd dvd player (failed) both systems cost a pretty penny to produce. And in fact playstation loses money when they sell a system..The actual ps3 is worth more than they sell it for and in this economy its still not a wise choice for most money wise.

Nintendo went against both companies with a system that cant even play dvds...isnt hd capable..and they make money when they sell a unit..production costs of wii isnt that bad...And what happend? they out sale the competition...And the system sucks?? no games??? Well how did this happen then?

But like i said earlier...Ive always been a fan and grew up on nintendo. I also like what sony has done alot....never really been big on either of the xbox consoles.

I just think nintendo did a nice job especially for the way the economy is right now...Alot of families come together to play this...alot of kids love it..and alot of guys like to play with there girlfriends or wives. A couple were friends with comes over and we either watch a movie or play the wii unless we go out...And my mom and day play and they havent played games in years...since atari probably lol.

At E3 i think sony and nintendo was big winners....ps3 has alot of great games coming out..nintendo did suprise me with the new mario and mario galaxy 2...new metroid.....i already knew about red steel 2 and no more heroes 2...

xbox really didnt show me anything to make me wish i had one tho. Im in no means a big gamer so im doing well with the ps2..ps3 and wii.
