The Province of Quebec is excluded from DMC, we cannot order from the DMC website , we can only order from the regular disney store canadian website.

The rest of Canada can order from DMC so that explains the fact the release won't be available through other Canadian (other than QC retailers) retailers but only available through QC retailers and can be shipped to other Canadian provinces and even abroad.

In theory, the item is available on yes B2Bwave so if other Canadian retailers, other than QC retailers, wanted the product they can always get a deal with the website in order to get copies available for them however if Disney specified that item is to be sold in provinces where DMC is not available then you will only get it through QC retailers.

I did know Quebec was excluded from DMC, but a general retail listing has never happened with any of the prior 100 exclusives so something is still different.

I did get information from a CA DMC member who confirmed the item is listed as a CLUB EXCLUSIVE on DMC.ca just like the US so nothing to indicate a Country specific exclusive status. I thought that would have been a long shot, but there are other items that US DMC sells that CA DMC does not (mostly related to Digital Copies)

With Rescue Rangers now coming to blu-ray, that leave 12 more US Disney Afternoon series to go for a blu-ray release. Those are:

-Gummi Bears
-DuckTales
-TaleSpin
-Darkwing Duck
-Goof Troop
-Bonkers
-Aladdin TS
-Gargoyles
-Shnookums and Meat
-Timon & Pumbaa
-Quack Pack
-Mighty Ducks

Two are already fully released on DVD (DuckTales and TaleSpin, although blu-ray would still be sweet!). If they bundled these shows together, that would be six more waves to the full DA on blu-ray! Very doable in a 2-3 year period (keeping in mind that other things will get released too).

Based on my intel, they will not release Marsupilami, that said I think it would be sweet if the Bonkers release also included Marsupilami, Shnookums and Meat and Raw Toonage. Or maybe just the latter three and keep Bonkers separate. Marsupilami, Shnookums and Meat and Raw Toonage were all short 12-13 episodes shows, so bundling them together kind of makes sense.

That would be another reason I don't like the current DMC business model. Even if we just kept it to Region A customers, that's still more than just the US.

I don't get what you mean by "edited". They released all 65 episodes (105 segments) on Disney +, so the show exists in its entirety on the platform in HD. Did they censor some episodes you mean? episode 23a is available on D+ (censored episode due to 911 attacks); that's the only "censored" episode that was restored, so the show was released fully on D+.

In the case of that show, the loss of that segment means that no, the full show has not been released on any format. I don't see how you can say it was when it wasn't.

I just told you it was re-instated on Disney+, episode 23a is on Disney+.

This is weird, Tangled is relatively new and popular, I'm sure people outside the club would have liked to buy it as well.

DMC Canada has changed the listing. It's no longer showing as an exclusive. The Tangled listing has not been changed.

For what it’s worth, the cover art in the DMC listing has been updated to the photo I uploaded. The yellow exclusive border appears to have been dropped.
