I enjoyed that. I watched the 8 episodes in a row. Time flew by so It must've been good.
![]() Let's hope there's more to come. Bloke's built like a brick outhouse and dishes out the ultra violence without a pause when needed. ![]() |

Excellent show!
Alan Ritchson is born to play this role, so good! Felt alot like stuff in the arnold era of acton films and the possibly even a nod to [Show spoiler] Hoping bluray release but not holding my breath... Last edited by Schwartzy; 02-05-2022 at 02:57 PM. |

The season is not 100% made up of the Killing Floor book. The flashbacks when Reacher is young comes from the book: No Middle Name. Frances Neagley doesn't show up until the 4th book: Without Fail.
I am not being critical about the additions. They definitely helped with the storyline. |

I'm enjoying the series very much, Alan Ritchson is decent enough, but he's not much of a fighter (or not what I see when I'm reading a novel) he gets pulled around a bit too much. He's a bit too clean cut and his clothes are a bit too fresh off the rack (even when they're from rift stores or donation bins).
All nit-picks which is a compliment to the show. Reacher in my mind's eye. ![]() ![]() |

Watched the series over two nights. Never read the books so I had no preconceived notion of what Reacher was supposed to look like when Cruise brought him to the big screen. After finishing the series I watched Jack Reacher 1 with Cruise and Pike. Cruise looked even smaller after watching Ritchson's portrayal.
Loved every episode. Not afraid to show some violence. Never saw Willa Fitzgerald before but damn that girl is a cutie (in an unconventional way). Hoping for a season 2. |

After seeing some positive talk I decided to give it a try. I have heard of the books. Never read them. Was not familiar with the character. After the first episode I got a bad ass Sherlock Holmes vibe which I found entertaining. Im on episode three and I am enjoying this.

Binged the lot over 2 nights. Loved it. Alan Ritchson's not the greatest actor in the world, but he looks the part & has the attitude down. The action was suitably dirty & brutal (glad to see the trademark headbutt was in full effect & you could really feel those bones break), plus Bruce McGill & Kristin Kreuk!
![]() Only a few points that bugged me: [Show spoiler] Also, it's been a while since I read it, but was Roscoe a blonde in the novel? In pretty much every other Reacher book, the love interest is almost always a petite brunette (presumably Lee Child's personal tastes?). Willa Fitzgerald was great though. Anyhoo, I hope it's a hit for Amazon & we get many more seasons. |
