I mean Kaya's reason enough to get this.

This movie ****in rocks. Up there with the 1st Anderson one and the live action bits from RE1 and the promo commercials from RE2 they did for Japan.

@dorium Those RE2 promo commercials directed by none other than George Romero were excellent! Someone I follow on twitter who creates indie comics has started to make a comic adaptation of George Romero's proposed Resident Evil script (which has been available on the net for years). Check it out: their handle is @Sisslethecat - All the links to the comic are on there.

I'd stay away. I'd say you need to have played the original 90's games to appreciate the movie in any way. Otherwise it comes off as a cluster ****. Unless you're just in the mood for a cheesy nonsensical zombie movie.

Depends on what games. The 90's originals is the mindset you need to be in here haha. It's cornball cheesy in the same kind of ways with classic zombie movie influence. It's much MUCH better than any of the Anderson movies in terms of being an actual Resident Evil film, without a doubt. But It's hard to judge outside of that, as I'm such a diehard classic RE fan.

That seals the deal. I'm like the quintessential hard-headed male honky in a 1980's B slasher film. The very minute someone says, "Don't go in the Woods", I'm freaking there! But I bring guns....lots of guns.

Not even Kaya could save this absolute train wreck. I had high hopes because it looked more faithful to the first game, but it impressively did absolutely no justice to it outside of what you see in the trailers.

Super disappointed and could not recommend this travesty to anyone.

Although, what would be a shame is if this got a stellar, reference video transfer and audio track... I still don't think I could bring myself to watch the film again.

Really enjoyed this movie definitely felt more like the games I am thinking of getting the Steelbook version just wish I knew what the back cover looked like if it was the Mansion that would be awesome.

I noticed shipping estimates have slowed down at Target so I went with Deep Discount because I know they're slow anyway. They just shipped mine. Got a tracking number. Cheap too.

Even assuming that applies only to the Blu-rays as it should, it's somewhat strange. Sony usually do the opposite by locking the US BD and then not the international editions.
