I work at Best Buy....we don't have an "Active" HDDVD display. Our HDDVD encap always finds itself on the regular feed, not displaying the "buy HDDVD" HDDVD disc..lol

I actually did this a few months ago at BB, trying to look at differences between the two products and I was actually told not to touch the displays. I've been back since and turned off the displays that were HD-DVD.

I know the feelings, my dad also does this when i pull this off. sometimes i go to best buy all dressed up, looking pro and all, and don't forget the glasses (sophistcated looking) just to watch what people are looking at and i start talking to people which format is better, and even take the time to show them a difference. I enjoy being one of those giving HDDVD a bad name.

i intentionally pile up hd dvd's in the open box section of the store so that when i talk a customer into blu ray they see what happens to their toshiba players. yet i talked my manager into putting up 4 setups... 1 hd dvd endcap that just like stated b4, is displaying anything but HD DVD. hehe. damn those mischivious CC employees.

Default Only Blu-ray on display

I work at Sears, and we only have a Blu-ray display with a 46" XBR4, looks great!! They only run the Blu-ray trailer, the HD-DVD logo just shows up at the end of the Matrix trailer, and HD-DVD is not even mentioned.

Sears only carries like 3 Toshiba LCDs, and the Samsung, Sony, Hitachi, Sharp (or for the most part all the reps for Blu companies) would freak out if an HD-DVD player is plugged into one of their 1080p televisions.

I dont mess with their stuff. I am Blu all the way - but I dont act like a little child over it. If I go there at all, I go in and get what I want, and then leave.
