Tough choice. I loved Jaylah and the character moments with the main cast in Beyond, particularly between Urban and Quinto. But the action sequences were better in Into Darkness and Cumberbatch has amazing presence despite the character he plays.

Beyond, easy.
They delayed Into Darkness for so long because they wanted to take the time to do a good film, and the 'best' they could come up with was a remake of an existing story. And as Canada said above, Beyond really felt like a legit Trek 'episode'. |

plus, having 50 mins of IMAX 1570 celluloids helps big time to engulf you into another planet. INTO DARKNESS was exactly what was required after reboot. |
