There will definitely be a SOLID GOLD CLASSIC edition of Thrilling down the line, which means it'll have an alternative cover and no booklet, but not for a few months.

I probably won't re-print CREATURE FROM BLACK LAKE because it's a title I feel like someone will release any day now remastered (I know Synapse was going to do it for a while but dropped it when they couldn't find suitable elements), and the disc was more geared toward celebrating movie marathons than anything else, so it was very specific.

Wasn’t there a release of it claiming to be taken from the only 35mm print? So there’s two different scans?

Same scan. Since that post was written, that scan did get a very limited release, on the down-low, and now it's sold out.

I managed find out about it and grab one in the last few hours it was available. Probably the most anxiety inducing purchase I ever made.

It's incomplete and had to fill some scenes with lower quality footage, but it's insane how good the restored footage looks! You can really see how great the monster costumes are.

I’m so glad I scored myself a copy. An insane labour of love, much like your most appreciated release of THRILLING BLOODY SWORD. Those are my two most prized cult film Blu-ray rarities at the moment.

Has anyone received Metal Detector Maniac yet? The website said it would start shipping the week of Jan. 15.

Thrilling Bloody Sword was wild. Great sound too. I wonder what the next title will be from a scanned print?

Such a fun film, now one of my all-time fave cult classics! And, as luck would have it, this is playing at The Beacon here in Seattle on March 4th, in conjunction with our very own Gold Ninja Video and The American Genre Film Archive!

From the crowd finding campaign update on February 2nd

The scan of SKIPTRACER has arrived - and will be hitting Blu-ray in a few months!

FREAKY FARLY has been scanned and Charlie Roxburgh is heroically working on putting it all together from scratch for its Blu-ray debut. I apologize for the delay, but it's on its way!

Synapse didn't drop Creature from Black Lake. Don May mentioned on a recent podcast it's still on the way and also posted an image of the scan on his Instagram within the last few months. He still has it under license from the McCullough family.

Nice! I will absolutely pick that up because that film is in desperate need of a decent transfer.

From Facebook:

Coming soon in a new 2K scan:

Not a big surprise, this was announced shortly after the crowdfunding campaign ended. But that poster art is worth sharing, and I guess this means it's close to being ready. Next after Skiptracer maybe?

EDIT: geez, just noticed that was posted on Facebook back on Feb 3, guess I haven't checked in there much recently.

Hey Justin, have you ever been asked about Agi, the Fury of Evil before? Brad Henderson just tweeted about watching a crummy VHS rip of it, and it looks like it would make a good pair with Thrilling Bloody Sword.

Heads up that I just put out the new release up for pre-order, which is a Canadian Cult Classic called SKIP TRACER (1977) that has never been released on DVD or Blu-ray.

You can grab it here: https://www.goldninjavideo.com/

And here's a trailer:

This one's got me (cautiously) intrigued. Have checked out it's main IMDb page, and (to my non-surprise) I was lucky to recognise just the one name in the cast, Stephen E. Miller (I remember him from playing Andy McLaren in the third and final season of Millennium).

I see there are now previews up for the Bruceploitation picture: https://twitter.com/GoldNinjaVideo/s...QsF3UgABgtWD5Q

Looking forward to this one, had it docked up to see as part of my Bruceploitation ranking project so a slick 2K transfer will be greatly appreciated.

I never ordered from Gold Ninja Video before and Metal Detector Maniac and Kung Fu Wonder Child will be my first purchases ever from them. They both look really good.
