Default No Escape (1994) Ray Liotta

Does anybody remember No Escape (1994) with Ray Liotta I can't find it anywhere it's not on digital not on Vudu or Amazon and doesn't look like it was ever released on blu ray? Any info on why it's so hard to find or why it's not available to purchase?

I do know it was released in Australia under its alternate title, Escape from Absolom. It's out of print, though. Its VHS and DVD releases in the U.S. were handled by HBO Home Video; a lot of their stuff never made it to Blu-ray. The original theatrical distributor, Savoy Pictures, has been out of business for years.

Thanks always frustrating with all the streaming sites available and digital and physical options and you still can't find the movie you want usually due to some rights or studio issue.

No Escape (1994) aka Escape from Absolom was released on Blu-ray four years ago in Australia from Umbrella Entertainment. Currently it's unavailable, but here's a review:

It's going to be hard to find. Nobody on ebay is selling it either.

It's OK. You just posted it in the wrong thread. It'll likely get moved to Wishlist.

It’s possible Warner Archives has this since George Feltonstein has mentioned that they have acquired many of HBOs distributed titles. Although according to IMDB Columbia Pictures is a main production house.

The one drawback to the AU blu is that it's only 2.0 stereo and not the original 5.1.

Wow, I feel lucky. I found out about a year ago about the Australian Bluray and ordered one right away. Underrated movie and it's a shame that whoever owns the rights in the U.S., just sits on it.
