Just a word of advice: The first season of Shaun the Sheep was shot with an SDTV video camera, it therefore simply doesn't exist in HD! Aardman wrote me they had it upscaled, but that's not true HD.

Alternately (and strangely, IMHO) Germany has been releasing Seasons 2 through 4 on Blu-ray in FullHD quality and the short film The Farmers' Llamas.

The Hong Kong release of Season 5 also includes The Farmer's Llamas but the audio sync is pretty bad on it.

I know it never got a theatrical release, but has there been any word on Farmageddon getting a US blu-ray?

It's going to be a Netflix film here in the States and I doubt Lionsgate has any involvement anymore (which is a shame because I'm sure they would've given that film promise here). Then again, they released the TV series no problem so maybe from them on home video? :/

Other possible candidate is Shout! Factory.

The Kino Lorber Insider on the respective KL forum stated that Lionsgate does indeed have the blu-ray rights. They just don't seem to have any interest in doing anything with it.

Too busy with Norm of the North, I guess.
