Default What is the best Luchador movies.

What movies defined this genre, which movies are the best (or most fun)?

The Magnificent Beast (1952) is probably the most important as it started the Mexican luchador genre quickly followed by Huracán Ramírez (1953) & El Enmascarado De Plata (1954).
The latter film was initially supposed to be a vehicle for El Santo but he turned it down & didn't show up in the luchador cycle until Santo vs. the Evil Brain (1958).
El Enmascarado De Plata is also important as it was the first luchador movie to portray the character as a superhero whereas the first two films were more serious dramas.
Santo and the Blue Demon vs. the Monsters (1970) is easily one of the most fun as the two superhero's battle an array of monsters from dracula , frankensteins monster, wolfman, a mummy & a cyclops.
The Champions of Justice (1971) is one of the most enjoyable too as this one is like the Expendables version of a luchador movie featuring Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras, El Medico Asesino, La Sombra Vengadora, Tinieblas & Black Shadow all teaming up together to battle evil.
