Here Before (2021)

Am curious to know if any UK cinemas are still showing a film released a few weeks ago called Here Before. Critic Mark Kermode was very positive about it on The Film Review. I checked the Odeon website and the only cinema showing it was in Belfast. Hopefully it gets a Blu-ray release as I quite like the sound of this film.

I think it’s run has ended now, and Curzon has stopped distributing new releases on Blu-ray for the past couple years outside a couple exceptions.

At the moment it’s available to rent off their website for £11.99, although give it a couple weeks it should drop in price or get added to a couple other VOD services. Curzon releases also have a tendency to land on Netflix within a couple months so it might be worth keeping track of what’s added on there.

Has Here Before had a cinema release outside the UK? Just wondering if it has, and if that's led to a Blu-ray release in those countries. The film premiered on BBC Two in mid-November (posted about it in UK TV Shows), followed by a screening of a folk horror short film called Know the Grass. Just my opinion, but this is the sort of film which the BFI would have done a Blu-ray release of in the UK.

Not according to boxofficemojo.com, and the UK release barely made any money.

It seems that in the US it's already on Hulu.
