Tough call. We've got Carrie on blu as far a Steven King catalog titles are concerned. Anything else? The Mist is still pretty new.

Until we get IT etc. it's probably a lost cause. I like SOTC.

In time Storm of the Century will be released on Blu-ray. It's a great miniseries, and I can't wait to add it to my Blu-ray library. We just have to be patient.

And The Shining is already released, of course , and The Shawshank Redemption. Misery will be coming out soon.
Never seen Storm of the Century, though. I will buy it instantly when it comes out. Huge Stephen King fan.

I'd also love Dreamcatcher, but seeing as Storm of the Century was a mini series it's a tough call which is why I asked.

With the exception of the "flying dream sequence", this miniseries is the very best Stephen King.

I notice they are now showing front and back cover art for a bluray release. I hope this means something.

Hope for so many years that Lionsgate will release this miniseries, this Masterpiece (yes, i dare...).The
whole ambient, the Music from Gary Chang, the soundscape of the wind, a terrific "huis-clos" perfectly directed. And...always nothing. I'm fear it won't happen. I see the (hypothetic) cover on the site. But it's been here since a long time now.

I keep checking back on this one, too. Hopefully the renewed interest in Stephen King properties will start bringing some lost classics to the Blu-ray format. I've heard discussions of how the Stand can't come to Blu-ray since the effects were in SD, but that's another title I still check for on a regular basis.

I have it DVD from Echo Bridge (includes 6 bonus movies) and I never seen it and it only $3.74 bin at Wal Mart about 2 years ago. I will check it out Storm of the Century.

I tend to watch this every winter or 2.

Hopefully we will get a Blu-ray announcement on this one soon.
