Default What's the biggest drop in quality between two entries in the same franchise?

They don't have to be consecutive entries, could be first and last movie in a franchise or one after the other. What is, in your opinion, the biggest drop off in quality between two entries in the same franchise or series of movies?

The Matrix and The Matrix Resurrections.

Surely this thread can be overrun by theatrical films that became direct to video garbage later.

My vote goes from The Force Awakens to The Last Jedi. I was utterly astounded by how bad the latter film was when I saw it, that I was almost numbed to silence for a full day. I never bothered to see The Rise of Skywalker, fearing it would only be worse.

Ding ding ding!

Also Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdi... err, I mean Dome compared to Mad Max 1, 2 and 4. Anyone else noticing a theme here?

I doubt anything will top Die Hard to A Good Day to Die Hard. Probably Jaws to Jaws the Revenge.
